Service Pricing Calculator for Beauty Trades | Excel & Sheets
What should I charge? This spreadsheet answers it. Put in what your business costs each month, the take-home pay you want and the hours you really spend with clients. It works out the hourly rate you need, prices every service you offer, and flags the ones that are losing you money.
Made for nail techs, lash and brow artists, hairdressers, barbers, dog groomers, tattoo artists and beauty therapists working for themselves in the UK.

How delivery works
After checkout you get a download link. Open the file in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and open with Google Sheets. Nothing to install.
Honest limits
- It works from your numbers. It doesn't know local market prices and doesn't pretend to.
- Typical times are a starting point. Time yourself and use your own.
- Suggested prices assume you're not VAT registered. The tax set-aside % is a rough figure, not tax advice.
FAQ
I'm not a nail tech. Will it work for me?
Yes. Pick your trade in Settings to see example services for it, then put in your own services. The maths is the same for any service you do by the hour.
What do the colours mean?
Green: the price covers products, overheads and your full target pay. Amber: it covers your costs but not all your pay. Red: you lose money every time you do it.
Does it work on a phone?
It opens in the Google Sheets app, but it's much easier to set up on a laptop or tablet.
